   cause they both fall into the same major catagory- Rugby. good point though. football(soccer) has a sub catagory for almost every tourement.

   Rugby Union is the real thing. Rugby League and soccer is for the guy that cant make it in Rugby Union.

   probably because americans dont realise that rugby league exists,inspite of it being the absolute best full contact team sport in the world

   Because there's no support for league. Let's look at the facts:

   Rugby League – played by Aus, NZ, northern England and small parts of France. Oh, I almost forgot about those "powerhouses" of international rugby league like Papua New Guinea & Lebanon 😉

   Rugby Union – a game with global popularity, played in over 40 countries

   Its a good point, although if you look up Football, then Australian Football, there is a small subsection dedicated to Rugby League…. Mostly in Australia.

   Rugby league fans should use the general Rugby board, to show the rest of the community (the ones who need 15 players to win a game) that real Rugby exists.

    as usual the fans of kick and clap can't grasp that league is faster harder and inpo a million times better to play and watch ( having played both btw )

    league is played in the USA and the world club challange is played in jacksonville next weekend

    wigan and warrington have played in milwalkie ( spelling)

    league is a fast growing sport and is played in almost as many countrys as union ! its played in every county of england so please don't go back the the "northen sport"

    viewing figures on sky are better for league the people paying to watch live are growing year on year ( not bad with no world cup win for the bandwagon jumpers to cling onto )

    the bbc decided league would be dead or so there union experts claimed when we changed to summer but we are getting bigger better and stronger
